The Guidance Office at Immaculate Conception High School encourages students to take the time to visit the campuses of schools in which you might be interested. Visiting gives students a true sense of the community and helps paint the picture of what the school is really like. 11th grade students often utilize our school breaks to schedule these visits.
Some questions to ask on your college tour:
What is the average class size and the student-to-faculty ratio?
What is the campus meal food like? What are the options?
Do many people stay here on the weekends or do a lot of students go home?
What is the average accepted student GPA and standardized test scores?
What kinds of activities are available? Clubs? Sports? Greek life? How many students participate in these?
Is there plenty of dorm space?
How many students are commuters and how many are campus residents?
