Lisa Listo has an MA in school counseling from Seton Hall University, where she graduated with honors. She is currently working towards completing her Ed.S in professional counseling and obtaining her LAC in April 2022 also from Seton Hall University. She hopes to work towards her Ph.D. within the next year. She will be completing a third year of internship at CenterPath Wellness in Plainfield this summer where she will expand her skills while working with adults and families in crisis. She joined the IC community in 2021.
Prior Immaculate, she interned at Saint Joseph’s College Preparatory in Metuchen. She is dedicated to cultivating supportive, stimulating, and inclusive environments that allow students to reach their fullest potential. She has extensive knowledge of high school and college counseling and prides herself on offering every student the highest level of attention and service while making sure she maintains a 100% college acceptance rate for her seniors. Two of her greatest strengths is the ability to increase students’ tolerance of frustration when they become overwhelmed and feel incapable of succeeding; as well as helping students realize their potential by focusing on their accomplishments and reflecting on past successes which helps to promote positive self-concept. She resides in Union County with her husband and two children.
