We encourage prospective students and their families to visit Immaculate Conception High School during their high school selection process. Come visit us at our next open house on January 24th, 2010 from 1:00-3:00pm.

Admission to Immaculate Conception High School is open to young men and women of any background who fulfill our academic requirements. Eighth grade students who wish to attend Immaculate for their freshman year must complete the following:

The COOP entrance exam (or SSAT or equivalent), administered by the Archdiocese of Newark and the Diocese of Paterson.
If the COOP exam is not offered in the student's diocese or area, call Ms. Kathleen Badillo at (973) 744-7445 ext.24.

An applicant should take the test at a site that is most convenient for him or her. Registration for the exam runs from early September through mid-October. Potential applicants should contact the Admissions Office, their parish, their Catholic grammar school (if applicable), their Diocesan education office or McGraw Hill at 800-569-2667 to receive a test application and handbook. For more information about the COOP exam, go to http://www.rcan.org/schools/hsadmission2.html
An official transcript from the student's current school that includes his grades from the 6th, 7th and 8th grades.

An Immaculate application form, available here in pdf format, is also available from the Admissions Office. (Note: Application forms do not need to be completed by students who sat for the COOP Exam in November and placed Immaculate as one of their choices – this counts as an application.)
An official letter of recommendation  from a teacher, guidance counselor or other school official.

Note : To view and print the application online in PDF format your computer must have Adobe Acrobat Reader.

To receive an application form, contact the Office of Admissions at ichsadmissions@yahoo.com or call 973-744-7445 ext. 24. If the COOP exam is not taken and the student seeks admission to Immaculate, he or she should contact the Office of Admissions for late application procedures and testing details.
